  • Incredibly low energy
  • Foggy mind
  • Impressively high heart rate (which created a sense of panic and anxiety)
  • High level of stress
  • Hormonal acne
  • Hormonal imbalance
  • Deep damages in the liver
  • Insomnia
  • Waking up at night with panic attack
  • Short breathing
  • Easily irritated, angry and upset for everything 😤

  • These are all the symptoms I have listed every time I eat sugar.

    These symptoms led to the inability to think and focus on whatever I had to do (really, the effects of sugar can last up to 4 hours, so… during this time, I could do simply nothing).

    Which means that any money-making actions were postponed and all the results I desired, were delayed, day after day, month after month, until I decided to get out of this infernal loop.

    But did you know that quitting refined sugar only is not enough?

    Through the tracking of my daily reactions to food, I have realized that sugar is… almost everywhere.

    You can find sugar in:

    • Gluten (wheat flour, pastas, pizzas, bread, biscuits, your favourite chocolate cake… unfortunately )
    • Flavored water
    • Energy drinks
    • Coffee
    • Alcohol
    • Tin cans
    • All the sauces (tomato sauce, pesto, Alfredo… feel free to check the labels next time you will open your fridge! )
    • Basically every food that is not perishable in your supermarket contains sugar.
    • And… fruits (yes, even the most organic fresh fruit contains fructose, which is actually the most harmful type of sugar you can find, surprisingly! )


    As all of this sugar had incredibly debilitating effects on my health, I had no choice but to completely get rid of it and operate a change in my lifestyle, in order to keep my mental and emotional sanity.

    Not only sugar created a severe hormonal imbalance that caused acne and several other pains, but also my business was severally suffering from it too, and so were my finances as well.

    Because I am my own asset in my business. And when I destroy my own abilities to mentally, emotionally and physically function, then I'm just killing all my chances to succeed.


    From this, my self esteem and confidence dropped significantly.

    And it was really easy to feel depressed, uninspired, sad and completely deeply unmotivated.

    And obviously, when you are in this state of mind, you easily slip into your familiar self-sabotaging patterns

    So that when you thought that eating this delicious slice of your favorite chocolate cake would make you feel happy, well…

    10 minutes later you are finding yourself in despair about the success you think you will never be able to reach… 😭

    Just because of sugar?!

    Yes. Just because of sugar.

    Because every time you swallow some sweet sugary food, you reactivate a part of your brain which secretes dopamine, the happiness hormone.

    You might tell yourself well “Just quit it!”

    Haha… Well, I have realized that quitting sugar is like quitting cigarettes.

    This is freaking hard at the beginning!

    The 2 main reasons why quitting sugar is challenging

    And one of the reasons is that…

    As soon as you eat one milligram of sugar, your addictive brain gets reactivated.

    Then, you will keep the immediate sensations for the next 4 hours.

    But then the reaction to sugar is not over, at all!

    You will notice that as soon as you eat a sweet food, your brain will want more of it and more of it.

    I have noticed that the addictive effect to sugar lasts up to 8 days until your body doesn't feel the desire anymore to compulsively reclaim sugar.

    Of course, we can notice the desire diminishing throughout the days only if we consciously (and… do the subconscious work) choose to stop eating sugar, on purpose, less and less, at every meal.


    The second reason why keep quitting sugar can be hard is because…

    Most of the time you will notice that you have a lot of emotions linked to this vanilla ice cream or this cheesy creamy pizza or the sweet tasty lemon cheesecake or… this comforting chocolate bar…

    And because we crave the need to fulfill our emotional needs externally, we will eat that piece of cake, blind from the harmful effects that sugar will trigger again in our bodies.

    But hopefully, like for everything in life there is a way to get rid of this debilitating addiction.

    How Jane stopped her sugar cravings after one 10-minute meditation session

    For a little background, Jane came to me because she wanted to get rid of her sugar cravings at first.

    Then, what came up is that it appeared that she was heavily craving sugar because she felt really stressed out in her financial area too.

    Working on making her feel safe about her finances unlocked her ability to feel safe around food and thus, crave far less any sugary food…

    This is one of the reasons why the more you eat sugar, the less money you will make…
